"Governance is the system by which organisations are directed and controlled. East North East Homes Leeds has a Board of Management comprising twelve Directors who have adopted the Langlands Standards for Good Governance. The Board have adopted following principles as far as good governance is concerned:
- focus on strategic planning, purpose and community needs;
- listening to shareholders;
- legal compliance;
- clear responsibilities and accountabilities;
- effective decision making;
- effective risk and financial management;
- investing in the skills of the Board and staff to ensure good conduct and the right behaviour.
Our Governance arrangements are reviewed regularly and are audited as part of our Annual Audit Plan.
